Mesirow Financial Wealth Manager John R. Kaufman Joins Board of The American Liver Foundation

Highland Park, Ill. (December 11, 2013) — Highland Park resident, John R. Kaufman,  managing director with Mesirow Financial’s Wealth Management group, was named vice president of the board of The American Liver Foundation. Kaufman is a managing director in Mesirow Financial’s Wealth Management business. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, he specializes in developing asset allocation and investment strategies for affluent individuals, families, corporations and institutions. Kaufman serves on Mesirow Financial’s Select Advisory Board as well as the firm’s Select Money Managers Program. Both groups focus primarily on performing due diligence on separate account outside money managers. In addition to The American Liver Foundation, Kaufman is involved in numerous charitable organizations including The Rush University Neurobehavioral Center, the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, the Kaufman Family Foundation and co-chairman of the Talarico Ataxia Foundation Open. John graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in business. John and his wife and four boys live in Highland Park.
