HIGHWOOD, IL (APRIL 2014) – Guy Viti Insurance Agency is proud to announce Anna Maria Viti-Welch was named as Woman Business Owner of the Year by the Chicago Area Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Additionally, Guy Viti Insurance Agency has been named one of Society’s Best for 2013 by Society Insurance, an honor bestowed on only the top 25 Society’s Best agencies out of more than 300 in the running. It’s no secret that Guy Viti Insurance Agency is building upon it’s 75 years of successful business within the financial industry of Chicago’s North Shore, continuing a 75-year legacy of fiscal success and commitment to community and family.

Viti-Welch was honored at NAWBO’s annual Celebration of Achievement Luncheon on April 28. As the third-generation owner of Guy Viti Insurance Agency, she has lead the organization to unprecedented earnings while taking the time to give back to her community. In addition to her speaking engagements held at the Women’s Business Development Center in Chicago, she is a Director of the First Bank of Highland Park and is currently chairing both the Go Red for Women Breakfast in Red for Heart Disease event May 9 and the Cystic Fibrosis Uncork the Cure Lake Forest Charity Event October 2014.

In order to earn the Society’s Best designation, Guy Viti Insurance Agency competed with more than 300 independent agencies representing Society Insurance across the commercial insurance company’s four-state territory of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Iowa.
