Classiest SIG pistol, Banned ?

A selection of the classiest of the SIG handguns will be available at the Banned in Highland Park gun exhibit and sale in Zion.  These are from the P240 series, in .22, .32 and .38.

This pistol is perhaps the perfection of Browning's Colt 1911 design and various modifications by FN, SIG, and others.

The P240 offer interchangable upper sections in the 3 calibers listed.  Accuracy is extremely good in all.  The barrels use both the rear lock seen in the SIG Sauer guns from Germany, and a front conical taper similar to the Colt target guns.

Extensive trigger adjustment is possible, but not trigger position.

The design is an evolution from the P210, but is a return in many ways to the older Browning design.

Unlike the P210, 1st shot accuracy is excellent, and the trigger function remains stable over a succession of shots.

Grips are available with adjustable shelf (target) or in field/combat style
These guns are the ultimate SIG pistol.  The SIG Sauer series was developed as an inexpensive version of these guns (P210 and 240) for foreign export or manufacture.  At this time,  a German company combining Sauer and Baser is making those, under the SIG-Sauer or Sigarms name.
