Carly Rousso’s trial date has been set for May 2, according to an article in TribLocal.

Rousso, 19, has pleaded not guilty on charges of reckless homicide and aggravated driving under the influence. She is accused of having huffed an intoxicant on Labor Day 2012 before driving over the curb on Central Avenue in Highland Park and killing 5-year-old Jaclyn Santos-Sacramento.

Both the prosecutor and defense attorney said they have not been able to agree on a plea deal, the TribLocal story says.

Patch previously reported that her lawyer said Rousso was willing to plead guilty to the reckless homicide charge.

Benny, let's not lose track of the case behind all these comments. A little girl was killed. Enough is enough.

David, can you fully comprehend how Charles Manson or OJ or Richard Speck pleaded not guilty to their crimes?...LOL

Benny, of course I can fully comprehend how people can plead not guilty to their crimes. My question was rhetorical!

Playing by your rules here Benny G. Ad Nauseum is not a word. Ad Nauseam is. And your posts here certainly fulfill the definition of it. I am new to reading Patch as I'm sure a lot of people are. If you've commented on this subject "ad nauseum" then I'm not aware of it. After reading your posts here I won't bother looking up your other comments because they are probably much of the same nonsense.
