District 113 to Discuss School Renovations With Education First, Building Professionals

District administrators, professional representatives and opponents of the District 113 referendum will meet on May 24 at 7:30 p.m.

District 113 administrators, professional representatives (architects, engineers and construction specialists) and members of , the group that the , will meet on May 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Highland Park High School auditorium. The purpose of the meeting is to share opinions and concerns as well as to identify areas of agreement regarding the facilities/technology needs of District 113 high schools. 

In the days which follow this discussion, District 113 officials will reach out more broadly to the entire community in an effort to promote discussion, understanding and the building of consensus regarding a revised facility and technology plan.

Interested community members can apply to serve on various study groups that will focus on specific aspects of the facility and technology plan. The application documents are available on the District 113 website or by calling Sandra Jasso at 224-765-1002. The forms must be submitted by Tuesday, May 31.
