Holiday Gift Boxes Deck the Halls in Downtown Highland Park

This holiday season, local artists will be spreading holiday cheer throughout Downtown Highland Park by decorating the town with festive painted gift boxes. The Downtown Highland Alliance and The Art Center – Highland Park brought together 25 artists from Highland Park, Deerfield, Lake Forest, Winnetka, Oak Park and Chicago for this holly jolly community art project.

Each artist is painting, decorating or creating a different box that will be displayed throughout the streets of Highland Park from November 23, 2013 to January 4, 2014. Adorned with one-of-kind bows made from metal or wood, these gift boxes bring the holiday season to life during the most wonderful time of the year.
