Local Businesses Celebrate More Than a Decade of Retail Excellence in Downtown Highland Park

October proved to be a busy month for the retailers of Downtown Highland Park as three long-standing, local businesses renewed their leases. Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma, which have occupied their locations in Highland Park for 13 years, and Chipotle which marked almost nine years will continue to be staples in the Renaissance Place Shopping Center located at 1849 Green Bay Road.

“The Opportunity for Downtown Highland Park to offer residents and visitors both independent small businesses and national brands is what makes our Downtown area so appealing,” said Christiane Fischer, Board Member of the Downtown Highland Park Alliance and General Manager of Renaissance Place. “Securing businesses in Highland Park such as Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma and Chipotle is critical to helping support our local businesses and also sustain our Downtown as one of the most diverse, walkable downtowns on the North Shore.”

Pottery Barn, a home furnishings and décor store, has renewed its lease through January 2015. Williams Sonoma, known for its top quality tableware and cookware, has also signed an extension on its lease until January 2015. Chipotle, a Mexican grill, renewed their lease until February 2016. Several other businesses in Renaissance Place including: Perlmutter Investments, International Airports Centers and Associated Allergists have renewed office leases for an additional five years.
