While most hotels provide the token treadmill and often times an outdated weight machine, The Kinzie’s equipment is up to date, featuring Life Fitness equipment that’s new, functional, easy to navigate and the room itself has a generous variety of excellent upscale workout machines to ensure a great workout-plus: a generous amount of towels and a new cooler.

 Now for their best kept secret: The Kinzie Hotel’s “continental” breakfast, features top quality varieties of bagels, croissants, healthy muffins/several flavors, a host of hot and cold cereals, juices, fresh fruit, three different kinds of coffee’s, teas, yogurts and more! Kinzie’s presentation is laid out perfectly so that during one’s stay, a guest can either grab and go or enjoy a relaxing breakfast and beverages while waking up at their own relaxed pace. In fact, their breakfast is so tasty that most of the restaurants downtown would have a difficult time matching up to this Kinzie Hotel’s quality and choice selection of delectible goodies.  Finally, their brand new contemporary lounge, aka, aptly named, the Double Cross Lounge was inspired by the great John Kinzie’s silver piece that he designed in the shape of a double-barred cross, as well as his mercurial reputation.
