How attract customers for the Highland Park businesses?

I read very interesting article in the HP patch:
"Businesses Still Feel Pinch of Theater Closing

Will Alcyon Foundation restore the lost revenue since City closed Highland Park Theater 18 months ago?

It give answer how we could attract more customers for the HP businesses.

We need develop more places of attractions in the HP.
Sometimes we no need additional huge investment:
1. Yesterday (November 10) I was on the beach on end of Park Avenue. It was a beautiful sunny day and only few people came to the beach.
Why?
I tried to find answer on this question.
First of all parking, there are restriction even for residents of HP.
What must do not residents, if they are comming maybe few times in year?
It is November and, of course, no any toilet.
Is it so expensive to put school's buses to bring everyone who want to the beaches of the HP?
I am sure that thousands of not resident of HP (the best customers) will be glad to make this trip in any weather condition.
2. The same school's buses could connect all main businesses in the HP.
Maps with location and name of all businesses must be the same available as maps inside Botanic Garden.
3. Train line - Chicago Waukegan is the only one, which could bring customers by train to the HP businesses. Concerts in Ravinia are showing that we have more than enough buses, which could connect railroad stations in Highland Park, Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, Palatine... and bring customers from all these huge areas, connected by trains. Beaches of the Highland Park, of course will attract many of them.
