Gasoline Prices Drop in Highland Park

Moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the dip in prices, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gas prices are finally going down for Highland Park drivers.

The average price of gasoline in the Chicago suburbs has dropped by 9 cents in the past week to $3.91 per gallon, the Chicago Tribune reports. The newspaper says moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the drop in price.

As of Monday afternoon, the following gas stations have the lowest prices in Highland Park, according to GasBuddy.com:

  • $3.83/Thornton's, 55 Skokie Valley Road and Lake-Cook Road
  • $3.84/Clark, 760 Central Avenue and McGovern Street
  • $3.85/Shell, 10 Skokie Valley Road and Lake-Cook Road or 1411 Park Avenue W and Skokie Valley Road
  • $3.85/Mobil, 1333 Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road or 2580 Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road
