100 Years without the Passenger Pigeon
2014 marks the centenary of the extinction of the Passenger Pigeon, once the most abundant bird species in the U.S. The Chicago Academy of Sciences' Steve Sullivan will discuss the causes and the lessons for habitat preservation and species conservation.
