American Craft Exposition Benefit Preview Party

The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore)


at Evanston & Glenbrook Hospitals presents one of the country’s most


distinguished craft shows, the American

Craft Exposition
(ACE). Showcasing the country’s finest handmade jewelry

and art objects from world-renowned craftspeople, this juried indoor exposition

and sale of fine craft includes one-of-a-kind pieces, luxury collections and

uniquely creative artwork.

ACE kicks-off with a Collectors’ Hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.


followed by a Benefit Preview Party from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22.

More than 160 juried artists from across the United States


will exhibit baskets, ceramics, fiber decorative, fiber wearable, furniture,


glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper and wood crafts.

Funds raised at ACE 2013 will support pioneering research at


NorthShore University HealthSystem that is already showing promising results in

preventing ovarian cancer in at-risk women.

The Show runs throughout the weekend:  Friday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.;

Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, August 25, from 11

a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets for the Benefit Preview Party are $150 and include


three-day pass to the Show and all demonstrations. Tickets for the Collectors’

Hour are $200. General show tickets are $15 for adults and $13 when purchased

in advance online. Tickets can be purchased here.
