Art is Alive Contest Welcomes Community Artists from Amateurs to Pros!

The City of Highland Park Cultural Arts Commission and The Art Center sponsor the juried community art contest, Art is Alive in Highland Park, to be judged Sat. December 7th at The Art Center, 1957 Sheridan Road, Highland Park

Highland Park residents 18 years of age and older, and students attending Highland Park elementary, middle, and high schools, are eligible to enter. To enter, bring a finished piece of artwork to The Art Center for judging on December 7th between 10am - 1pm. Artists may select one entry each.

Contest winners will be recognized by Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering during the opening reception on January 10th at The Art Center. Selected artworks will be on display at The Art Center until Feb. 1st, 2014.
