Congregation Solel's 5th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Service

Join Congregation Solel for our annual celebration and
commemoration of the work of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. The evening will feature Solel's Choir singing music of the Civil Rights Era including a world premiere of "Pray with My Feet," a new composition by Philip Orem, Solel's accompanist and composer-in-residence.

We’ll also hear from two featured speakers due to graduate from Waukegan High School this spring. Topiltzin Gomez (who will attend Yale University in the Fall of 2015) and Andrea Flores (who will enter Stanford University) will offer their reflections on the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

This even is free and open to the public. For more details please contact the Congregation Solel Office at (847) 433-3555 or by email to SolelOffice@solel.org.
