DOWNTOWN HIGHLAND PARK OFFERS 20% ORT PASSPORT SAVINGS AT THE MOST STORES ON THE NORTH SHORE
DOWNTOWN HIGHLAND
PARK, IL (MARCH 14-22, 2014) – More than 45 unique and fashionable Downtown Highland Park businesses are
offering 20% savings this week to shoppers with ORT America
PasspORT card. Far more Highland Park retailers are participating in this
program than any other North Shore community, so ORT supporters and shoppers can
find the best selections and best deals in Downtown Highland Park.
“It’s a win-win situation - people are donating to a great
cause while getting great deals at the many wonderful shops of downtown
Highland Park,” says Ellen Doppelt, Executive Vice President of the
Metropolitan Chicago Region of ORT America. “The proceeds will support ORT
schools and educational programs around the world, as well as right here in the
Chicago area.”

throughout PasspORT week. All proceeds benefit ORT America, a non-profit Jewish
organization that is committed to strengthening communities throughout the
world by educating people against all odds and obstacles. It is one of the
largest non-governmental education and training organizations in the world.

HIGHLAND PARK ALLIANCE
The Downtown Highland Park Alliance is a public-private
partnership of the Highland Park CBD Property Owners Association and the City
of Highland Park. The Alliance was founded in 2008 to enhance the economic
vitality of Downtown Highland Park and encourage local spending, investment,
tourism, and a sense of community through promotion of the Central Business
