CALL FOR ARTISTS: TALL GRASS ARTS ASSOCIATION AND/OR 58TH ANNUAL PARK FOREST ART FAIR

Jurying is now open for the Tall Grass Arts Association Gallery and/or the 58th Annual Park Forest Art Fair.  Information and the application can be downloaded from the Tall Grass website at:  www.tallgrassarts.org.  The Gallery, located in Downtown Park Forest, serves the southern suburbs of Chicagoland.  Exhibits rotate every two months.  Gallery Artists are invited to participate, exclusively, in at least one exhibit per year, typically scheduled to coincide with the Park Forest Art Fair.  Gallery artists can also exhibit their works in the Tall Grass Gift Shop.
The Art Fair, scheduled for Saturday, September 21 and Sunday September 22, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Downtown Park Forest, is the second oldest, juried, fine arts fair in the Chicagoland region.  Artists from all over the United States participate in the fair.  Artworks range from painting and photography to jewelry, wood and fiber arts.  The fair has a well-deserved reputation as an artist-friendly fair with a lovely breakfast for artists, an even nicer dinner and volunteers, all day, each day, who provide water, assistance and relief.  The Village hosts a music fest all day on Saturday and fest-favorite, Patchouli (a folk music duo) perform on Sunday.  There are many art activities for children and food vendors.
The deadline for jurying is June 29, 2013.  Jurying will take place on a monthly basis so artists can make plans, in advance, to participate in the art fair and fall Gallery Artists Exhibit.
