Limited Availability – Informational Meeting & Reception February 26, 5:30pm

(HIGHLAND PARK, IL – February 1, 2013) – The Highland Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce an exciting and unique travel opportunity to China.  A memorable 9-day journey is planned to four of China’s great cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou, departing on October 16, returning on October 24, 2013.

This all-inclusive trip is offered at the incredible price of only $2,599.  The cost includes: Round trip international airfare from ORD; 4 & 5-star hotels; three full meals a day; intra-city air and ground transportation; fluent English-speaking tour guides; opportunities for shopping throughout the trip; and admission to all tours and attractions.   This chance of a lifetime trip is extremely desirable, and will have limited availability.  Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis; early sign-up is strongly encouraged.

There will be an informational meeting, reception, and opportunity for registration, on Tuesday, February 26, at 5:30pm, at the Highland Park Public Library, in the auditorium/lower level.  Peter Liu of Citslinc International, the tour operator, will be present to answer questions and familiarize you with details of the trip.  Meeting attendees will enjoy appetizers graciously provided by Highland Park’s popular Yummy Bowl Restaurant, and will receive a special complimentary gift at this meeting only.  Visit the Chamber website at www.chamberhp.com for information on additional meetings to be held on future dates.

Businesspeople, civic leaders, and residents from all communities will experience China’s centuries-old customs and history, while witnessing first-hand their rapidly changing economy and their expanding role in the global marketplace.  The Chamber’s goal is to help the community have the chance to experience it at a cost-effective price. “The Chamber is the perfect organization to offer this delegation trip as an opportunity to educate our community on the economy, culture, and dynamics of the world,” says Chamber Executive Director Ginny Glasner. “I have personally experienced this amazing trip last year, and can tell you that the accommodations are first-class.  Not only did we see and experience the incredible culture, varied foods, and rich history of the country, we were treated as dignitaries representing America throughout the entire trip.”

In addition to the cultural and tourist experience, there will be a rare opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn about doing business in China.  Details will be provided at the informational meeting.
