Heart Opening Yoga & Reception: An Evening of Yoga, Fun and Fundraising for The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation

The Karen Dove Cabral Foundation proudly presents Heart Opening Yoga & Reception, an evening of yoga, fun and fundraising. A donation of $25 includes a reception featuring food and drinks, a tempting silent auction, socializing and a moderate and accessible yoga session open to all who are interested. Cancer survivors and supporters Amy Levy, Sara Lewis and Beth Prager conceived and organized the event in an effort to give young mothers living with breast cancer the help they need today.

The evening will help raise funds and awareness for the Karen Dove Cabral Foundation, which supports NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Kellogg Cancer Center. NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center offers comprehensive and compassionate care for oncology patients and their families. Funds raised at the event will allow NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center to provide much needed support to young mothers with breast cancer by helping fund non-covered medical expenses, childcare fees, transportation and lodging while undergoing treatment.
