Cos Bar of Highland Park (662 Central Avenue) is
excited to announce the store’s official grand opening on September 19th.
The grand opening will begin with a ribbon cutting at 2pm with City of Highland
Park officials, including Mayor Nancy Rotering. The grand opening party will be
held from 4-7pm and is open to the public, featuring a red carpet extravaganza
with plenty of beauty demonstrations and makeovers from representatives of
luxurious makeup brands such as La Prairie, Ramon
Monegal,
Laura Mercier, Claudio Riaz, Sisley, Natura Bisse, Yves Saint Laurent, Guerlain,
Dior, Clinique, La Bella Donna, and more! Guests will enjoy photo opportunities,
music, hors d’oeuvres and libations from Longitud315, flower arrangements
from The Silk Thumb, and Cos Bar goodie bags.

In
addition, Cos Bar is graciously giving 5% of the night’s proceeds to the Zacharias
Sexual Abuse Center
of Gurnee. Zacharias Center provides a place of help and support for survivors
of sexual abuse. With structured services of counseling, advocacy, supportive
listening, and much more, Cos Bar is proud to raise awareness and funs for such
an incredible organization.

Those who attend the event will be able to learn
all about Cos Bar’s unique products. Over ten lavish fragrance and skincare
stations will be featured inside and outside with a professional makeup artist from
different brands at each station, including Europe representatives, Laura
Monegal of Ramon Monegal and Michael Ann Guthrie
of Natura Bisse. Brand representatives will provide
15-30 minute demos speaking on different areas of their brand, such as eye
makeup, lotion, fragrances, and more. Guests will also leave with a special Cos
Bar goody bag with free samples, compact mirrors and much more.
