Highland Park Walking Tour

Chicago Architecture Foundation Highland Park Walking Tour

Trace the history of Highland Park from pioneer settlement to summer retreat for wealthy Chicagoans to year-round suburb. Encounter residential architectural styles ranging from log cabins to Historic Revival mansions to Prairie School and International Style modern homes. Highlights include homes by Frank Lloyd Wright, W. W. Boyington, and Howard Van Doren Shaw.

This tour traverses 2 miles of winding,
wooded residential streets. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

COST: Tickets are $15 or free for Chicago Architecture Foundation members
