HIGHWOOD’S CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES LOCAL & NATIONAL CRAFT BREW LINE UP
HIGHWOOD, IL (AUGUST 17, 2013) – The producers of Highwood’s Craft Beer Festival are proud to announce the
local and national craft brew line up for the North Shore’s First Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, August 17th starting at noon, at Everts Park
(130 Highwood Avenue). The growing craft beer connoisseur population throughout Chicago’s northern
suburbs can taste and appreciate specialty beers from craft breweries across
the country!
Celebrating the best of local, Midwest and American craft beers,
Highwood’s Craft Beer Festival will feature many seasonal and year-round brews
from small local independent breweries to some of the best-known microbreweries
nationwide. Attendees will be able to sample from 35 breweries including:

Xtra Pale Ale and Ebel’s Weiss,

Finch Beer Company offering Threadless IPA, Fascist
Pig Ale, Secret Stache Stout, and Cut Throat Pale Ale,

Line, Classic and Vintage Ales,

Lake Bluff Brewing offering Weiz Guy Ale, Gamma Ray,
Dog Days Hefeweizen and Honey Badger, and

Finn's, MOA, New Belgium Brewing, New Holland, Pyramid, Saugatuck Brewing,
Sierra Nevada, Ska, Stone, Magic Hat, and more to be confirmed soon.
VIP and general
admission tickets are available at www.HighwoodCraftBeerFest.com. A limited number of discounted
early bird tickets are available through July 17th at $35 for
general admission starting at 1pm or $50 for VIP entrance starting at noon. Attendees will receive a wristband, a brewers
list card, a reusable sampling glass, drink tickets for three ounce beer samples,
and a bag of pretzels with a string to make their own pretzel necklace. A
variety of food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available from Highwood’s
diverse restaurants.

Highwood’s
Craft Beer Festival will be donating a portion of its proceeds to The Puppy Mill Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public and raising
awareness about puppy mills and their direct connection to pet stores, internet
sites, and newspaper ads that sell dogs.
This event is
strictly for those 21 years of age and older. Highwood advocates responsible
drinking, and recently aligned with Parents. The Anti-Drug to combat underage drinking in the community. Attendees are encouraged
to take the Metra Train to the Highwood Metra stop located only ½ block from Everts
Park. Designated driver tickets will also be available. For more information

first social networking, events and entertainment sites in the country. Widen
