home to Orsi’s Italian Ice and The Train Café.  Thanks to a new City of
Highwood initiative to

commuters and the local community can enjoy great treats on the go!

the namesake shop will serve Italian ice that's 100% natural, fat free,
cholesterol and dairy free.  An
assortment of flavors will be served including watermelon, lemon, coconut,
peach, mango, strawberry/lemonade, lime, blueberry/raspberry,

“We are so excited to be opening in the Highwood Metra
Station and being a part of the City of Highwood’s small business opportunity,”
says owner, Stephanie Orsi.  Orsi’s
Italian Ice shop will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 4pm-9pm.

The City and Chamber are also looking forward to a
late-summer opening of The Train Café, also located in the Highwood Metra
Station, adjacent to Orsi’s Italian Ice.
The coffee shop will serve a variety of coffee drinks, beverages and
homemade tasty and travel easy treats for commuters or anyone on the go.  The Train Café will also have a few tables
for people who have extra time before the train or anyone that wants to sit and
enjoy their coffee and treats.

“After being a vendor at Highwood’s Farmers Market for the
past several years, I have only imagined of opening a shop of my own,” says Pat
Lenzini, owner of The Train Café. “With the support and encouragement from my
family, friends, and the great City of Highwood, my dream is coming true.”

“These two new Metra Station businesses will be a wonderful
addition to our City and the Chamber of Commerce,” says Zanotti-Ori. “The
Orsi’s and Pat have done so well as a part of our Celebrate Highwood events. Orsi’s
Italian Ice and The Train Café will be a great asset to the community!”
