Joy of the Game hosts Citi Joakim Noah Basketball ProCamp

HOSTS CITI JOAKIM NOAH BASKETBALL PROCAMP PRESENTED BY JEWEL-OSCO

DEERFIELD, IL
(OCTOBER 26, 2013) – Joy of the Game
is excited to bring the Citibank
Joakim Noah Basketball ProCamp presented
by Jewel-Osco to Deerfield. Chicago
Bulls Center-Forward Joakim Noah,
Camp Director Jim Stoll, and 16 of the area’s top basketball coaches will lead a
fun basketball camp of over 100 children and young adults, ages 7-18 on
Saturday, October 26th, from 6-9pm, at Joy of the Game (158 S.
Waukegan Rd. Deerfield).


“This event offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to
aspiring basketball players throughout Chicagoland,” says Brian Davis, General
Manager and Director of Boys’ Programs at Joy of the Game. “It is a privilege
to give our community the chance to learn from one of the most recognized and
talented Chicago athletes, and we are honored that ProCamps chose Joy of the
Game as the venue.”


Campers will learn fundamental basketball skills while
experiencing various stations with Joakim Noah and coaches. Campers will be grouped by age in small groups, as to assure that each camper receives maximum
exposure and instruction from the area’s top basketball coaches.

The state-of-the-art basketball courts at Joy of the Game
have been freshly remodeled and are of the highest quality, and all tournaments
and events are refereed by certified IHSA referees. In the past, Joy of the
Game has been hand chosen to host events by Nike, Gatorade, the NBA, and most
recently, a skills camp with basketball legend Scottie Pippen. Joy of the Game continues
to be a predominant venue for renowned sporting events.
