"Love, Lust & Lunacy": Women Celebrate Beauty and Sensuality at Posh Essentials

HIGHLAND PARK,
IL (FEBRUARY 6, 2013) –
Posh
Essentials
, the North Shore’s premier destination for women to look and
feel their most luxurious, is excited to host an exclusive Valentine’s Day
event on Thursday, February 6th from 6-9pm. Local author Amy Kite will be signing copies and
reading excerpts from her book, “Love, Lust & Lunacy: A Poet’s Inner
Dialogue”. Her poems will come to life as Posh models sashay around the store
in sexy outfits that represent love, lust, and lunacy. Guests are invited to
join in an in-store charcoal sketching class with a nude male model and a professional
artist to learn how fashion translates to the body, and Studio S will be providing complimentary nail polish changes.

Women will also have the opportunity to be sketched
nude or semi-nude by Katya’s Salon de
Erotique
in a private room at the event. Finished sketches can be brought
home to loved ones as a Valentine’s Day gift, or simply kept as a personal
treasure! Katya is an artist originally from Russia, specializing in water
color, acrylic, oil painting and textile media. Her work is featured year-round
at the Randolph Street Market
in Chicago and Re-invent Gallery in
Lake Forest.

“We are excited to partner with local artists and
authors to bring this event to the community and celebrate the true beauty of a
woman,” says Pam Hillman of Posh Essentials.

Kite’s book of poetry is for anyone who has been
struck by the complexities of love; the laughing, the crying, and the fighting.
Kite received her Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University and is
currently an author, poet, freelance writer, tutor, and mother of three. She
also released a book on children and divorce, titled “Divorce: What About Me?”

“I am very excited to share my poetry and be a part
of this fun event, which celebrates women, passion and bedroom fashion!” says
Amy Kite, author of “Love, Lust & Lunacy”.
