MAX’S DELI SHARES WINNING TIPS FOR CATERING A SUPER BOWL PARTY

Taking pressure off party planners plates and guests on game day

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (February 2, 2013) – For
those watching the NFL Super Bowl from the comfort of a home, one of the most
popular traditions is to have a smorgasbord of food to munch on during the game.  Max’s
Delicatessen & Restaurant takes game day pressure off party planners plates
with their team of catering experts.  Max’s
is taking orders through Saturday February 1st, or last minute walk-ins are
welcome at the Deli Counter game day, so party hosts don’t have to miss all the
fun after the kick-off due to slaving away in the kitchen.

“Too often people who host the party miss the game and the rest of the
action because they are busy catering to their guests,” says Stacey Goldberg,
head of Catering at Max’s Deli. “You need a strong game plan just like the
winning team to get the most out of your own event. That includes working out
food options in advance and letting a team of professionals do the work.”

Goldberg has some winning strategies that will help guests and hosts
alike to enjoy the game, while picking some fun and healthy options for the big
day.

1)    Get the field ready – Super Bowl
contenders are focusing all their attention on the field. Set up one room
viewing the game to keep the focus on the action and a second room for your
guests to congregate, debate and grab a cold beer or hot bowl of Max’s Deli
homemade chili.

2)    Skip the audible – Don’t make
the call on what to serve at the last minute. Take stress out of food planning
by working with a caterer or professional party planner at Max’s to provide
fun, delicious and healthy options that move away from the tried and true super
bowl fare.

3)    Make guests feel like winners – Not everyone
goes home from the Super Bowl a winner, but guests can all walk away with their
own special treat. Add a takeaway cookie for the end of the event. Max’s makes
homemade cookies that can feature a favorite team or another unique design.

4)    Have a good game plan – Don’t sit on
the sidelines at your own event this year. Max’s Deli will put in all the kitchen
work to plan the perfect Super Bowl party.

Max’s Deli can create a party package to keep fans cheering throughout
the game. Here is one of their most popular platters that works great for a
Super Bowl Party for 10 people (plus kids) for under $15 per person ($144.95
plus tax).
