Nada Bits are evenly crushed,
gluten, sodium and cholesterol-free corn tortilla chip crumbs that can
be used as a breadcrumb substitute to
coat, top or layer. They are Kosher/pareve.
Available in two flavors, original and lemon, these crunchy, corn chip
crumbs liven up soups and chili, put a crunchy spin on salads and add crunch to
desserts. They can be used to make easy
meals in a cup by alternating layers of seasoned meat, vegetables, cheeses and other
ingredients. Lemon Flavored Nada Bits is
a hit at dessert or treat time as part of a yogurt parfait or ice cream
sundae.
The Nada Bits sampling team will be
on hand at Sunset Foods locations from Friday,
January 10 to Monday, January 13 to give shoppers a taste of two flavors –
Original and sweet Lemon. Locations,
dates, and times are as follows: Long
Grove, Friday, January 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Highland Park, Saturday, January

“This product extends the
possibilities of the familiar tortilla chip,” says Alicia Bellar veteran
marketer and co-founder of Treforte Foods, LLC.
“We know people use the crumbs at the bottom of the chip bag, as a
coating or topping on foods. Nada Bits is a better alternative because it’s
fresh, sodium-free and specifically ground into smooth, even pieces. When used as a breading, it maintains a
satisfying crunch without adding unwanted salt. We keep finding new ways to use
Nada Bits. Our favorite discovery so far
has been using Lemon Flavored Nada Bits as a nut replacement to make gluten and nut-free caramel apples or
dipped desserts. ”
