North Shore High School Film Festival

Films from student filmmakers around the North Shore will be screened at the inaugural North Shore High School Film Festival. Tickets for the event are $4.00 each and can be purchased online at https://dist113.revtrak.net/tek9.asp?pg=products&specific=imamopmpo
or directly at the event on Sunday.

Film submissions are up to 10-minutes in length and categorized by multiple genres and styles. Category winners will be announced for Best Directing, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Judges Choice Award and Most Creative.

The Highland Park High School Film Society was started in the fall of 2013 by co-presidents, Brooke Stern and Jordan Portugal. More than 60 students participate in monthly meetings and discuss filmmaking techniques from some of Hollywood's biggest directors. Earlier this year, Academy Award nominated director Behn Zeitlin ("Beasts of the Southern Wild") addressed the club.
