PTO PUMPKIN PATCH FREE MOVIES: TWILIGHT AND MONSTER HOUSE
HIGHLAND PARK, IL
(OCTOBER 12-13, 2013) – Just in time for Halloween, the public is invited
to downtown Highland Park for FREE movie showings! Twilight and Monster House will
be shown on a huge 25-foot outdoor movie
screen in the Port Clinton Square Pumpkin Patch. Students are encouraged to
come with friends, have fun and support their schools! Movies will be shown on
Saturday and Sunday evening at 6:30pm in Port Clinton Square.
Downtown Highland Park’s Port Clinton Square will be
transformed into a PTO Pumpkin Patch and Monster Mash Bash from Saturday,
October 12th through Monday, October 14th from Noon-4pm. The
three-day event will feature $5 pumpkins with all proceeds going towards
District 112 PTO’s. The weekend will be full of family fun including ugly
pumpkin and gourd decorating, free Pony
Rides (Saturday), Hayrides (Sunday), hot cider, fresh popcorn and s’more
making, Monster Mash music and dancing from Highland Park High School’s
DJ Club, and on-site registration for the Great Highwood Pumpkin Fest 5K
Pumpkin Run, Walk & Kids’ Dash benefiting St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and more!
