entrepreneurship, marketing, and sales during this great fundraising
initiative.
In addition, Highland Park is teaming up with Highwood to
show their camaraderie for The
Great Highwood Pumpkin Fest, October 17-19th. All pumpkins carved at the PTO Pumpkin Patch
will count towards Highwood Pumpkin Fests’ record-breaking attempt at having
the most pumpkins carved and lit at once! On Monday, October 14th at

processional”, leaving Highland Park and heading to Downtown Highwood’s Metra
Train Lot, where the pumpkins will be placed on the scaffolding and counted
towards the Guinness record. Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering will perform a
“Passing of the Pumpkins Ceremony” to Highwood Mayor Charlie Pecaro at 4:10pm
