Spectrum Gallery Hosts Fine Art Fundraiser for Family Service on November 22

Spectrum Fine Art Gallery will host a
Fine Art Fundraiser to benefit Family Service from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November
22, 2013 at 47 Highwood Avenue in Highwood. The public is invited for an
evening of artistic enjoyment and tasty refreshments, with 20% of art sales
going to the Lake and northern Cook County social service agency. Cost to
attend the event is a $10 donation to Family Service.

Founded in 1930 in response to area
residents devastated by the Great Depression, Family Service is a community
organization with a customized approach to delivering proven, high-quality, professional services to all ages, from children to
seniors. Its mission is focused on three service cores: Senior and Caregiver
Services, Counseling for All Ages, and Latino Educational and Support Services.
Most services are available at no out-of-pocket cost to clients. The agency
serves over 7,000 area residents in 62 communities across Lake and northern
Cook Counties. Clients are served from offices in ten communities, and Family
Service is one of the few area agencies providing in-home services.

            "This
is a unique, pre-holiday opportunity for you to support Family Service and the
important work they do in the community as you browse the work in the gallery," said
Diane Nelson of Northbrook, artist and co-owner of Spectrum Fine Art Gallery.
