The Nutcracker, A family tradition for 25 years!

Children and adults have been fascinated with the tradition and fantasy of The Nutcracker for decades, and North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) will present it’s 25th annual production on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 & 4:00p.m., and on Sunday, December 8th  at 2:00p.m. Performances will be held at the Raymond Moore Auditorium at Lake Forest High School, 1285 North McKinley Road, Lake Forest. Tickets are $22.00 for adults, and $15.00 for children and seniors. This production is appropriate for children of all ages, with each act being just over thirty minutes. Special guest artist Larissa Tanis (Grand Rapids Ballet) dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy, in addition to Adam Houston (Giordano Dance Chicago) will dance the role of The Nutcracker prince, Kate Goddard (Chicago Repertory Ballet ) as the Arabian Princess, Robert McKee (formerly Giordano Dance Chicago) as the Mouse King, Anne Gnoth (Inaside Dance Chicago) as the Rose.  Bruce Bloom of Deerfield brings his magic to the stage for his 15th year as Dresselmeier.
