Nominations Open - 2013 Game On! Girls' Youth Sports Coach of the Year Award

GAME ON! SPORTS CAMP 4 GIRLS OPENS NOMINATIONS

Game On!’s summer sports day camps for Girls and other sports programs are all about working with girls, grades pre-k through 8th, to develop or enhance their appreciation and appetite for sports and fitness. In the spirit of spreading this mission, we honor all those who have the passion to take the time to instill this attitude and build confidence. Game On! is therefore opening nominations for its second annual Girls’ Youth Coach of the Year Award that will serve as a reminder of all those coaches who contribute and influence, with one serving as the ultimate and representative model.

Here are the details:

Candidates – Any and all girls’ youth sports (grades K through 8th) coaches working within the Chicago area during 2013, paid or volunteer, travel or recreational can be nominated.

Nomination Process – a team or team member may nominate a candidate by providing a persuasive explanation (150 words or less) as to why this coach is deserving of this award. We anticipate a flood of nominations so make sure your candidate stands out. The nominations should be submitted by filling out the “Contact Us” form located under “Contact Us” at www.gameonsportscamp.com.

Nomination time period – Nominations open September 1, 2013 and will close on January 15, 2014. The Award winner will be posted on the home page of the Game On! website at www.gameonsportscamp.com and publicized on January 30, 2014.

Selection Process – a panel consisting of Game On! staff will comprise the selection team.

Prize – Cash prize plus award and the inherent pride to last a lifetime.
