NCJW Family Day of Service

On this Veterans Day, DONATE items for Luggage for Freedom and Encore & More AND bring your children and grandchildren for a special day of service:

 

MORNING: 10:00am -11:30am: Projects with the children of Tri Con Child Care Center, 425 Laurel Ave., Highland Park.

Children second grade and older are invited to attend with a parent, grandparent, or aunt to help as “Reading Buddies” and art project helpers. Members of NCJW’s Clowning Around Troupe will entertain the children with their Winnie the Pooh costumes. RSVP for the Morning to Laura Rubin at lauraerubin@yahoo.com or call NCJW at 847-853-8889. Bring a sack lunch and join your NCJW friends then...

 

AFTERNOON: 12:30pm - 3:30pm: Volunteers from NCJW will pick up donations to Encore & More and Luggage for Freedom from members’ and their friends’ homes in Chicago and the Northern Suburbs.
