Community Corner

North Suburban Synagogue Beth El SummerFest

North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park will be holding the Beth El “Summerfest” on Sunday, August 26 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The community is invited to participate in a range of activities for the entire family, including a concert by Highland Park’s own Dr. Mark and the Sutures, bounce house, face painting, relays and more. Come learn about the many activities Beth El has to offer from the Men’s Club Softball League to the Sisterhood’s Mah Jongg group from the Social Action Committee to the College Connection and others.

Made up of a group of physicians and business professionals, Dr. Mark and the Sutures have been performing for community events or many years. Their play list is comprised of songs from the Beatles to the Eagles.

“Summerfest gives Beth El an opportunity to showcase all that they have to offer Jewish families in Highland Park,” said Director of Informal Education, Ali Drumm. “We welcome the community to spend a casual, fun-filled afternoon with us.”
