The installation of this third electric vehicle charging station downtown has been part of a collaborative effort with the communities of Lake Forest and Skokie to deploy electric vehicle infrastructure throughout the North Shore, according to the release.

The City believes working collaboratively with neighboring communities will allow drivers of electric vehicles to visit each community knowing that they will have access to a charging station.
