MWF Seeking BFF

Author Rachel Bertsche discusses her new book, MWF Seeking BFF: MY Yearlong Search For A New Best Friend at Highland Park Public Library.

Perhaps you’re a new mom, and just moved to Highland Park? Maybe you are a recent college graduate, about to move to a new city?  Or, perhaps you’re thinking about retiring to someplace new?  At some point, you might be in the position to make new friends.

Journalist Rachel Bertsche found herself in such a position when she moved to Chicago.  Bertsche left New York for Chicago to be with her boyfriend and realized she was missing friends.  She then embarked on a yearlong project - 52 girl-dates in search of a new best friend, which she chronicled in her new book, MWF Seeking BFF: My Yearlong Search For A New Best Friend.

Meet Bertsche when she appears at the Highland Park Public Library on Wednesday, January 18, at 7 p.m. to discuss her book and sign copies.  Books will be available for sale at the event.
