A Paddock Lake man is expected in court in March for charges he sexually assaulted at least two family babysitters, whom he allegedly supplied with alcohol and Ecstasy.
Robert J. Kinsley 43, is out of jail on bond for three alleged child sexual assault cases. All three case — two felonies and one misdemeanor Kinsley was first charged three felonies for alleged child sexual assault. A misdemeanor for allegedly having sex with a child older than 16 was filed in June 2012. Another felony, reported in August 2012, was filed in October. Kinsley’s most recent hearing was in December.Kinsley has pleaded not guilty to all the charges. If convicted, he faces 225 years in prison. He also could be ordered to register as a sex offender.Details of the misdemeanor file were not available. However, the criminal complaint from the first felony case alleges Kinsley assaulted a female babysitter in December 2010.The girl, 15 at the time, said she and another girl were watching Kinsley’s son. When Kinsley came home, the girl said he offered them alcohol and Ecstasy. Each girl drank and swallowed a pill, then joined Kinsley in a hot tub.The girl said Kinsley later undressed her and touched her inappropriately, including while she was “blacked out,” the complaint says. The girl said Kinsley ultimately had sex with her.In the most recent felony case, a boy said Kinsley first touched him inappropriately in July 2010, when the boy was 15. He also said he other kids began spending more time at Kinsley’s home “because they were allowed to drink beer,” the complaint says.In the first incident, the boy said Kinsley touched him while showing him pornography. They then had sex, the complaint says.The boy said he and Kinsley had sexual contact two other times, including once after Kinsley gave the boy Ecstasy, the complaint says.
