Voices Rising Youth Choir to perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for Welcome, Yule Holiday Concerts!

Since 2006, the Midwest Young Artists (MYA) youth choral ensemble Voices Rising has celebrated the Holiday Season with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at Symphony Center. With eight performances of Welcome, Yule! in December, the chorus is able to impart a wealth of holiday cheer on lucky concert goers.

MYA welcomes new Voices Rising director Stevi Marks to the talented faculty of the award-winning youth music school. Stevi is herself a former Chicago Symphony Choir member and now current director of the Grammy Signature School award winning Glenbrook South choral program in Glenview, Illinois.

The Voices Rising choral ensemble comprises students from 5th - 10th grade that hail from all over the Chicago area and meet on Sundays to rehearse at the MYA center in Highwood. Enrollment is currently open for voices rising, so if your singer is interested in performing on the Symphony Center stage this December, please visit www.mya.org and register online today.
