Highland Park physicians among 19 named to leadership roles at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital
Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital recently named two physicians from the community of Highland Park to leadership roles on the hospital’s medical staff team. Mark Greenberger, MD was named chief of Medicine, and David Smiley, MD was named vice chief of Medicine.
These physicians are among 19 named to leadership roles on the medical staff leadership team. The physicians were selected by a medical staff committee after being nominated by peers in their respective departments.
“These physicians are among the finest in their fields,” said Michael G. Ankin, MD, FACP, FCCP, chief medical office at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. “Medicine is evolving every day, and we could not ask for better leadership as we bring new clinical programs and cutting-edge procedures to the communities we serve.”
