Highland Park Obituary: Irwin Kramsky, 96

Irwin Kramsky, 96, of Highland Park, born in Milwaukee, WI on January 9, 1918, passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2014.

Beloved husband of Irene, nee Zeff; loving father of Claudia “Corky” (Alan) Kooperman and Robert “Bob” (Leslie) Kramsky; cherished grandfather of Matthew and Todd (Hye) Kooperman and Victoria (Heath) Woods and Elizabeth Kramsky; and proud great-grandfather of Ziva Gale Woods.

A candy manufacturer for most of his life, Irwin worked for Farley, Melville, Curtiss and Brach candy companies.

Irwin’s family will be gathering together at the Kooperman Home in Highland Park from 5-9 pm on Thursday, July 10, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 255 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to the charity of your choice.
