HIGHWOOD HISTORICAL SOCIETY ANNOUNCES RAFFLE WINNER

The Highwood Historical Society congratulates Eileen Favelli, a long time HHS member , who was the winner of the Opera Raffle.  She wins dinner for 6 plus drinks at the Del Rio Restaurant.    

Plan to attend our next informative program on Thursday, Nov. 7th at 7 p.m.  at St. James School.   Edward Piacentini  Bernardi will share the background and history behind his first novel, The Reluctant Patriot.    It is an interesting story that takes place in Italy during the Mussolini era.  Books will be on sale for $25 each  with the proceeds donated to the Highwood Historical Society. Reservations required.  Sign up by November  1st by calling 847-682-9039.  Refreshments will be served. There is no charge for this program.  Everyone welcome.
