When: May 2, 2014 THE ENTIRE DAY!!!!!!

Why? “Spread the Word to End the Word” is a United States national campaign sponsored by the Special Olympics to promote the awareness of ending the use of the “R” word in everyday speech. The goal is to get people to stop and think about how the use of the word can be hurtful to others. Highland Park is a wonderful community that strives to look out for one another and this is a great opportunity to show our neighbors, family members, and friends that we support them and stand up for ending the use of the word . For more information regarding the “Spread the Word to End the Word” campaign please visit www.r-word.org.
