Who Micro Managed Spring Break?

An interesting school schedule for March attempts to keep families from extending Spring Break.  Usually Spring Breaks last about a week book ended with two weekends and perhaps a Good Friday thrown in.  School is scheduled for Monday March 17th....sorry St Patrick! Then, there are 4 full days off of school, one being a teachers institute day and 3 being set aside for teacher's conferences.  The following week is a full week of school with Spring Break starting at the close of school on that Friday.  So 4 days off followed by 5 days on and then 5 school days off for Spring Break.  Preparing our students for a firemans or pilots schedule I guess?  Obviously, the thought is to keep parents from extending Spring Break:)
