100 Battery Cores Stolen from Local Business

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that Nov. 24 around noon, approximately (100) battery cores were taken from a pallet and plastic storage container located in the back of a business in the 500 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports..

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that sometime between 11 a.m. and 10:19 p.m. Nov. 29 an empty black and gold Kenneth Cole bag was stolen from a business located in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Driver’s License Infractions and More

Hugo Beristain-Sanchez, 23, of Highland Park was arrested Nov. 27 and charged with driving while license suspended and suspended registration after being stopped by police near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Walnut Street, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 8 in Park City.
