2013 Audi A8 Stolen from Highland Park Dealership

Motor vehicle theft

Police are investigating a delayed report of a motor vehicle theft. It was reported sometime between July 25 and Sept. 17 unknown persons stole a 2013 Audi A8 from a dealership parking lot in the 2400 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.

Theft

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported unknown subject(s) stole 14 eight foot sections of metal shelving (three pallets). The incident occurred in the 300 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. 

Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported unknown persons stole a pair of Rayban sunglasses after they were accidentally left unattended on a countertop at a business. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. 

Burglary to motor vehicle

Police are investigating a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. It was reported unknown persons entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a brown leather wallet containing 4 credit cards sometime between 7 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 18.  Credit cards were reportedly used several times. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Hill Street, Highland Park.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. It was reported unknown persons entered an unlocked vehicle sometime between 5 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 18, and removed a Garmin GPS and 3 CD's. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of Brook Road, Highland Park.

Police are investigating a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. It was reported unknown persons entered an unlocked vehicle sometime between Sept. 17 and Sept. 19 and removed miscellaneous items. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Audubon Place, Highland Park.

Retail theft

Ana Delannoy, 32, of the 300 block of Forest Knoll Road, Lake Bluff was arrested and charged with retail theft after shoplifting at a business located in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road, Highland Park.  Delannoy was released on a cash bond with a court date of October 24, 2012 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City. 

Criminal damage to vehicle

Police are investigating a report of a criminal damage to vehicle. A vehicle was discovered in a parking lot with a broken front passenger window.  No apparent entry was made into the vehicle as several items of value were within reach and left undisturbed. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. 

Police are investigating a report of a criminal damage to vehicle. A vehicle was in for repair and the mechanic discovered that part of the steering assembly appeared maliciously cut. The incident may have occurred in the 1300 block of Ridgewood Drive, Highland Park. 

Driving while license revoked

Santos Cortes-Galarza, 39, of the 200 block of Ashland Avenue, Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked after being stopped by police near the intersection of Summit Avenue and North Avenue, Highland Park.  Cortes-Galarza was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 10, 2012 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City. 

Aggravated driving under the influence

Juan Martinez, 38, of the 2400 block of Green Bay Road, North Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, violation of a one way roadway, uninsured motor vehicle, aggravated driving under the influence and aggravated driving while license suspended for DUI after being stopped by police in the 200 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.  Martinez was transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan pending court date.
