22-Year-Old Arrested for Speeding 40 Miles over the Limit

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

Police are investigating a report of theft. It was reported a blue Huffy bicycle was left in a rack in the 1700 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park and was stolen sometime on Oct. 8. The bicycle was locked and the lock is also missing.

Police are investigating a report of theft. It was reported that a rear license plate from a Toyota Corolla was stolen after being parked for approximately one hour at a business in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. 

Police are investigating a delayed report of theft. It was reported that sometime in the last week, approximately $160 was taken from an unlocked cash box in a locked drawer in the main office of a business in the 2000 block of Sheridan Road, Highland Park.

Angelo Defilippis, 40, of the 2000 block of Wilmot Road, Bannockburn was arrested and charged with theft and interference with police officers after police responded to a report of a customer/management dispute in the 1900 block of Sheridan Road, Highland Park.  Defilippis was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 28 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.

Criminal damage to property

Police are investigating a delayed report of a criminal damage to property. It was reported that sometime between10 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 12 unknown person(s) pried open the front door to a storage unit building in the 2800 block of Patten Road, Highland Park. Nothing was reported taken. 

Police are investigating a report of a criminal damage to property. It was reported that sometime after 1:30 a.m. on reported date, an unknown person(s) broke a 12 inch round concrete flower pot along with the glass on a front storm door in the 300 block of Lambert Tree Road, Highland Park. 

Speeding 40+ over the limit

Marco Flores, 22, of the 3500 block of S. Laramie, Cicero was arrested and charged with speeding 40+ miles per hour over the limit after being stopped by police in the 2400 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Flores was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 28 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City. 

Driving under the influence

Rachel Oosterbaan, 46, of the 100 block of E. Louis Avenue, Lake Forest, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Oosterbaan was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Nov. 2, at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

David Anstett, 26, of the 1100 block of Estate Lane, Lake Forest was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, speeding and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle after being stopped by police in the 1300 block of Half Day Road, Highland Park.  Anstett was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of November 16, 2012 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.
