4 Arrested for DUI Last Week in Highland Park

Two of the drivers were also arrested for cannabis possession or possession of drug paraphernalia.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Michael Church, 24, of Libertyville, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2 a.m. May 3. Church was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 23.

Abrahan Gomez, 21, of Vernon Hills, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2:30 a.m. May 3. Gomez was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 6.

Chemaya Foster, 23, of Wilmette, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, no valid drivers license and driving without headlights illuminated after being stopped by police near the intersection of Central Avenue and Deerfield Road at 11 p.m. May 3. Foster was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of May 23.

Jomary Santiago-Torres, 23, of Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1400 block of Park Avenue West at 2 a.m. May 4. Santiago-Torres was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 6.
