55-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Assaulting Officer

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aggravated assault

July 19: Nancy Flitcraft (55) of the 1200 block of Pine Street, Glenview was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, aggravated assault to a police officer, open transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after police responded to a two car accident in the 1400 block of Lake Cook Road, Highland Park.  Flitcraft was released on a cash bond with a court date of August 23, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois. 

Driving under the influence

July 16: Cameron Chioni (23) of the 200 block of E. Heritage Trail, Hainesville was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1300 block of Half Day Road, Highland Park.  Chioni was released on a cash bond with a court date of August 16, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

July 21: Jose Lopez-Gonzalez (31) of the 3400 block of W. Foster Avenue, Chicago was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.  Lopez-Gonzales was transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois pending court date.


Possession of cannabis

July 17: Andrew Kass (27) and Nina Cardella (29) both of the 3100 block of N. Paulina, Chicago were issued administrative citations for possession of cannabis at Ravinia Festival, 201 St. Johns Avenue. Kass and Cardella are expected in administrative court on August 1, 2013 at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.

Consumption of alcohol by a minor

July 20: Elis Je Taun Frye (20) of the 0-100 block of Northernview Circle, DeKalb was arrested and charged with consumption of alcohol by minor and open transportation of alcohol after being stopped by police in the 100 block of Roger Williams Avenue, Highland Park.  Frye was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of August 19, 2013 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.

Disorderly conduct

July 20: Piotr Zander (54) of the 1200 block of Inverrary Lane, Deerfield was issued an administrative citation for disorderly conduct for urinating in public in the west parking lot at Ravinia Festival, 201 St. Johns Avenue. Zander is expected in administrative court on August 15, 2013 at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.

Domestic battery

July 20: Rosendo Cuarenta (35) of the 300 block of Ashland Avenue, Highwood was arrested and charged with domestic battery, no valid drivers license, uninsured motor vehicle and one headlight illuminated after police responded to a report of a man attempting to push a woman into a car. Cuarenta was stopped by police in the 2700 block of Trail Way, Highland Park.  Cuarenta was transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan pending court date.

Criminal damage to property

July 21: Sebastian Siemaszko (21) of the 700 block of Forest Edge Lane, Des Plaines was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property after police responded to a report of a vehicle being damaged while parked in the 1100 block of Park Avenue West, Highland Park.  Siemaszko was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of August 14, 2013 at 301 Greenleaf Street, Park City, Illinois.
