Accidents Lead to 2 Separate DUI Arrests in Highland Park

A man was also arrested on a warrant for aggravated battery charges.

Aggravated batter warrant

Javier Montes, 30, of the 600 block of Green Bay Road in Highwood, was arrested on a Highland Park warrant for four counts of aggravated battery and two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from an incident that occurred in April. Bannockburn Police took Montes into custody while he was riding as a passenger in a traffic stop. He was transported to bond court pending court date.

Driving while license suspended

Pamela Davidson, 58, of the 9900 block of Michigan Blvd. in Zion, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and registration suspended for no insurance after police stopped behind a vehicle with its hazards on near Park Avenue and Skokie Valley Road at 7:30 p.m. June 19. She was released on a personal recognizance bond with a July 23 court date.

DUI

Nicole Turner, 38, of the 300 block of Cross Creek Court in Chester, MD, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after police responded to a three-car accident near Lake Cook and Green Bay roads at 11:30 p.m. June 19. Turner was released on a personal recognizance bond with a July 25 court date.

Driving while license suspended

Thorton Swisher, 50, of the 1400 block of McKinley Road in Lake Forest, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane usage and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4 p.m. June 21. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with a July 23 court date.
