Car, Bike Crash Injures Person

Injury to person was not life threatening.

(Updated at 7:30 p.m.) One person was transported to Highland Park Hospital today after a bicycle and motor vehicle collided at 115 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park, according to Highland Park Fire Department Lt. Dan Zerfuss.

Zerfuss said the injury was not life threatening. He could not confirm whether the injured person was the one riding the bicycle.

(Earlier at 6:26 p.m.) Injuries are reported in a collision between a car and bicycle at 115 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park, according to a report on the Lake & McHenry Scanner Facebook page. Patch will keep you updated.
